Vintage Femme Fatale Commission

A commission for a 1930's vintage femme fatale character. Gouache on 140 lb Watercolor paper. I see her drinking a very nice absinthe cocktail. It was Eric's idea to add the mole.

New Website Under Construction

Welcome! This website will be under construction for a couple days. I changed my name to "Canete" after a court marriage to my husband Eric Canete. So now I am in the process of changing my name everywhere (Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) I also have a new email address at cascanete@gmail.com. I will still be checking my cassandrapoulson@gmail.com account regularly as well.

So, a lot of new projects are going on this year. I plan to paint much more and focus on my illustration. Those of you who know me know that I have been a professional animation artist for some years now, offering storyboards and design work for production. Previous employers include Cartoon Network Studios, Bento Box Entertainment, and Starz Media/ Film Roman.

I now find myself very inspired artistically and personally and want to pursue that as much as possible. I am raising funds to make an Oracle Card Deck, along with a new and - my first - full color art book, and a youtube channel documenting my process along the way. Right now I am offering painted commissions- you can find all the information here. If you would like to help me reach my creative goals then please consider a commission from me. : )

Thank you so much for your patience during this new site construction, and of course for your continued support!

Kindly,

Cassandra
