Cassandra Canete

My experience as a storyboard artist for Warner Bros Animation was superbly wonderful. But this blog is focused more on my love for painting and illustrating my own stories. I did a lot of digital work years ago but now I prefer working traditionally. There's just something special about feeling the paper with my hands and using real paint to create images. Here's a list of materials I use most often:

  • 140 lb watercolor paper, %100 cotton
  • Tube Watercolors: Daniel Smith, M. Graham, Winsor and Newton, Holbein
  • Synthetic watercolor brushes (mostly cheapy ones)
  • Pebeo drawing gum
  • Spray Bottle, Natural Sponge, Viva paper towels
  • Blackwing Pencil, mechanical pencil
  • Kneaded eraser
  • Platinum Preppy fountain pen, LePen Technical Pen
